SALISBURY, Md. -- McDaniel College topped Salisbury women's basketball, 61-50, to improve to 10-3 on the year on Wednesday night at Maggs Gym. 

The Sea Gulls trimmed a 24-point deficit all the way down to 11 in the second half, but Elaina Beckett's 25 points were too much to overcome. Nicole Miller and Abby Plaugher combined for 33 in the loss. Forward Kayla Nieberlein missed her second-consecutive game due to injury.
