FELTON, Del. — The Lake Forest Spartans set the tone early and never looked back, cruising to a 53-27 victory over the ECHS Hornets in a Henlopen Conference matchup on Monday night. Led by a dominant performance from Darius Miller, the Spartans' high-energy play overwhelmed the Hornets from the opening minutes. Miller, along with Seth Young and Lamier Wright, helped propel Lake Forest to a commanding lead that the Hornets struggled to counter.

Lake Forest jumped out to a 9-1 advantage, with Young hitting multiple three-pointers while Miller controlled the paint. Miller’s defensive tenacity fueled the Spartans, as he turned turnovers into electrifying dunks, including a one-handed slam that brought the crowd to its feet. By halftime, Lake Forest held a comfortable 24-7 lead, with the Hornets unable to find an offensive rhythm outside of a late three-pointer from Chris Carrier, their first field goal of the game.
