SMYRNA, Del -- In a Henlopen match-up, the Riders of Caesar Rodney High School travel up to Smyrna to take on the defending state champions in the Eagles. After a dominant first set by Smyrna, the Riders would manage to keep themselves in arms reach for the rest of the match.

However, their efforts would not prove enough as the Eagles sweep Caesar Rodney in 3 sets, highlighted by Maddi Pierce's 14 kills. Smyrna is now 2-2 on the season
