Sussex Academy and Indian River faced off in boys lacrosse Wednesday night. The Seahawks went on to secure a 10-4 victory.

GEORGETOWN, Del-- Sussex Academy and Indian River faced off in boys lacrosse Wednesday night. Indian River's John Spencer opened the first quarter by scoring the first goal of the night. Sussex Academy's Clayton Emplit answered back with a goal of his own. Tying the game 1-1.

Still within the first quarter, Cooper Hagy scored a goal that gave the Seahawks a 2-1 lead. But it was Hayden Thomas of Indian River who tied the game 2-2. Shortly after, Hagy gave the lead back to Sussex Academy once again with a score of 3-2 in the first.
