HOCKESSIN, Del. – Sanford School held off Cape Henlopen in a tight second-round battle, securing a 57-54 win to advance to the quarterfinals. The Vikings started strong with a 16-10 lead, but Sanford responded with key plays from Naomi Allen and Ellie Carter, taking a 29-27 advantage at halftime after Raith Ray’s deep three at the end of the first half.

Cape Henlopen fought back in the third, with Hayden Hudson and Havyn Green cutting the deficit to two. However, Sanford’s Asia Adams and Jada Snow delivered clutch shots to extend the lead.
