The Cape Henlopen Vikings and Seaford Blue Jays faced off in round two of the DIAA Boys Basketball State Tournament. The Vikings went on to secure a 56-46 victory.

SEAFORD, Del-- The Cape Henlopen Vikings and Seaford Blue Jays faced off in round two of the DIAA Boys Basketball Tournament. In the first quarter, the Blue Jays took the lead. But during the second quarter, Cape Henlopen and Seaford found themselves in a back and forth for the leading spot. By the end of the quarter, Cape Henlopen and Seaford were tied 27-27.

During the third quarter, the back and forth for the leading spot continued. But it was Cape Henlopen's Geordan Downing who put an end to this when he scored a Viking three pointer. For the remainder of the game, Cape Henlopen found themselves in the lead. Seaford tried to reclaim the leading spot, but it was Cape Henlopen who walked away with a 56-46 victory. This Saturday, the Vikings will go on to play Sanford in the quarterfinals at Dover High School.
