Decatur struck first with a basket from Lila Gunther, but South River quickly took control as Karlee Hawkins and Cami Burke led an early surge. A strong defensive effort, including key plays from Skylar Woodyard, helped South River build a commanding 16-2 lead after the first quarter.

By halftime, South River extended its lead to 44-9, fueled by steals and fast-break points.
