BERLIN, MD. – A boys basketball game that features two Bayside powerhouses that are fresh off the Governor's Challenge and are ready to get back into action against familiar foes. The 4-2 Stephen Decatur Seahawks will host the 9-1 Mardela Warriors where these two teams excel at their respective sport. Decatur is coming off two straight losses, while Mardela is riding a five-game win streak and are looking to continue it with a big win over the reigning state semi-finalists. Will Mardela overtake the Seahawks for the top spot in the Bayside South? Or will Stephen Decatur prove that they belong at the top, regardless of who they play?

Stephen Decatur dominates Mardela, beating them 62-42. Although unexpected, the Seahawks deserve their flowers, as the offense started off slow, but eventually got rolling with the speed of Davin Chandler and the paint beast Judah Carmack. It was an all-around great performance for the Seahawks who proudly defended their nest giving the Warriors their second loss of the season.
